Our Accreditations

Our commitment to quality and continuous improvement is entrenched across every department within Flowtechnology™ UK.

We continually work hard to maintain and improve our reputation as a first class provider to the Fluid Power Industry. We have made significant investment in equipment, people and processes to ensure we conform to and achieve the following accreditations:

The BFPDA was formed in 1989 and is dedicated to improving the performance of distribution within the Fluid Power Industry. The association is affiliated to the BFPA and has a common secretariat. This accreditation confirms to our customers that we have attained the high standards necessary to be granted membership. There is a published code of professional conduct that we are required to conform to and we have undertaken to support the manufacturers of fluid power products by distributing their products, in a professional and ethical manner.

For 28 years, we have achieved continuous compliance to ISO9001. The scope of our activity is as follows … “Supply of fluid power, industrial, commercial and agricultural components and associated engineering equipment.” In addition to this, we have a programme of continuous improvement which we adhere to as part of our certification. At Flowtechnology™ UK we recycle approximately seven tonnes of “waste” per month which takes the form of plastic, paper, metals and cardboard, whilst utilising a locally sourced recycled material as packaging for our outbound parcels. Not only does this significantly reduce the possibility of damage in transit, it also has significant environmental and economical gains over the plastic filled air bags that this method now replaces.

Our Hose Assembly Division, is a BFPDA Q Approved facility. Download a copy of our BFPDA certificate

Established in 1939, the British Valve and Actuator Association represents the interests of over 190 British companies which are responsible for over £1billion sales each year. The membership is involved in more than 50 different committees whose areas of study cover a wide spectrum on the valve and actuator industry, including the setting of European and International standards, writing codes of practice, establishing industry ground rules and, most importantly, establishing a forum for members to meet with their peers. Membership of the BVAA ensures Flowtechnology UK is continually informed of market updates and best practice in relation to the valve and actuator market.
